Free Licenced Anime to download According to ADV Films UK latest newsletter, ADV Films and Arts Alliance Media have joined forces to offer brand new and classic anime for Download To Rent and Download To Own, available to the public from 21st May 2007. Anime Trailers now in Game Theatres near You The Emil Chronicle Online (ECO) role-playing game has opened up a "Production I.G Theatre," operated by Production I.G. The virtual theatre, located in the ECO Theatre within the game itself, will begin showing promotional clips from the anime Reideen and Sisters of Wellber on Friday. Production I.G is also preparing exclusive content and staff interviews that can only be viewed at the theatre within the ECO game. Players can also purchase Production I.G "posters" and other in-game merchandise. An interesting way to promote your products inside someone else’s popular game.

Achievements crash-in and setup shop Well, we have just added over 1200 achievements across all the LIVE Arcade games. We plan to start adding all the achievements to all the xbox360 games in our Archives. More coming soon.

PS3 update 1.92 Earlier today, the Playstation 3 system software was updated to version 1.92. The update includes the following:
Playability status with the PS3 system has changed for some Playstation 3 format titles*.
* This does not affect titles in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Oceania.
Nothing really big to write home about, but hopefully they are now getting closer to releasing HOME to the public.

HOME gets updated People lucky enough to be in the HOME beta, received an update yesterday that provides several graphical enhancements, characters improvements, allowing them now look better and have multiple new customisation options (weight, crazy hair colours, more clothes). Your characters can now also run around Home after walking for a bit. Also, a few new items are now available in your HomeSpace. The Home Cinema has received new trailers. It also appears that new streaming methods have been implemented for videos in public spaces, as they play more smoothly the closer you stand to them, plus many other small changes. So you lucky few to be HOME, enjoy these new shiny toys.

Manhunt 2 being banned from all the Parties Rockstar’s Manhunt 2 was recently hit with a “Adults Only” rating which automatically bans it from... Well pretty much everywhere. Due to the rating the game cannot be released on Nintendo’s Wii, Sony has said they "will not release Manhunt 2 on the Playstation 2". Manhunt 2 has also been banned from countries like the United Kingdom and Ireland. Rockstar is calling the game a “Piece of Art” and feel it’s intended for Mature Audiences and it shouldn’t be AO’d. For me, some games are never meant to be "Fun", does this mean they should not be made either??

Ragnarok Online DS?!?! I remember first playing Ragnarok 4 or 5 years ago in a beta. All I remember was that it was fun, but bots were to quick to land on the servers (5 days after I started, they were everywhere!!) But I do remember it being a cute little fun game. So I was surprised when I found out it is planned to come to the DS and would play online using the WiFi. This is differently a game to watch out for!

Starcraft II landing at (SOLD OUT) Blizzcon! Even with the $100 price tag, tickets for Blizzard Entertainment’s fanfest BlizzCon sold out just three days after going on sale early last week. But, Blizzard increased the hype up a notch as they announced that attendees of BlizzCon will be able to get their hands on a playable version of Blizzard’s long-awaited real-time strategy sequel Starcraft II for the first time. All I’ll say is, the Con will be amazing and I feel sorry that I won’t be one of the lucky ones to try Starcraft II first!!

Vista reaches 20m Though not somthing we normally report on, Microsoft has announced that more than 20 million copies of Windows Vista were sold in the month after the new OS was released worldwide on January 30.

Winter warm-up See, this is what happens when I go away. My inbox fills up (Mainly with junk, but some cool bits too). Whilst I was away doing odd and wonderful things, the site has slowly evolved on its own. You will now notice the forum is running nice and smoothly. The sections are now fully colour coded to their set colours and the title database has been bolstered. Welcome to the winter cold, we plan to keep the heater on fall from now on.

Believe Begins Microsoft has started its "Believe" advert campaign for Halo 3. You may have started seeing the adverts, but they have also created a virtual tour of the diorama seen in the "Museum" advert. Very cool and should be checked out.
